headshotAnn Ledy returned to her hometown of Saint Paul, Minnesota in 2004, after spending twenty-eight years in New York City as both a practicing artist and academic. Today, Ann is President and Chief Academic Officer of the College of Visual Arts in Saint Paul.

Ann holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of Minnesota and a Master in Fine Arts degree in Painting from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Her long career in higher education began in 1979 at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where for twenty-five years she taught drawing and served as department chair of the first year Foundation Program.

Ann has exhibited her artwork extensively in solo and group exhibitions in New York, Germany, and Korea. Her works on paper can be found in many collections including Harvard University Fogg Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Walker Art Center, and Yale University Art Gallery. Most recently, her works on paper were exhibited at the San Diego Museum of Art, in an exhibition entitled, Spatial Gestures: New Acquisitions; and in an exhibition, at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo Esteban Vicente, in Segovia, Spain.
