college art prep for success

To assure artistically gifted students of all learning backgrounds have the opportunity and support to pursue a BFA degree in the arts, CVA launched the College Art Prep for Success (CAPS) program in fall 2011 to serve promising young creative talent from academically  backgrounds.

CAPS participants develop study skills and work habits critical to maximizing their educational experience while developing self-confidence, self-advocacy, and lifelong learning skills.

The CAPS program supports intensive academic and college preparation for conditionally accepted students. Participation transforms and strengthens students’ ability to enter college and maintain critical momentum for success.
