Students may begin the first year Foundation Program in January, completing the second semester of their Foundation year in the summer. This option gives students the opportunity to continue as sophomores at the start of the next academic year in the fall. Students participating in the January Start/Summer Foundation Program must commit to both semesters.
If you have previously attended another college or university prior to applying to CVA, you are considered a transfer student. If you have successfully completed the foundation year at another institution, your coursework will be evaluated for transfer. Once all admissions materials have been received and if you have been accepted to the college, an official evaluation of transfer credit will occur and a plan will be created outlining your remaining courses to obtain a BFA.
