The College of Visual Arts Viewbook was selected for inclusion in the 51st Design Annual published byCommunication Arts. This prestigious annual compendium of juried work features the best in visualcommunications from around the world.

365: AIGA Annual Design Competition 31

The AIGA is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. AIGA represents more than 20,000 design professionals, educators and students through national activities and localprograms developed by 65 chapters and 200 student groups.After careful and considered review of more than 2,500 entries, the jury of “365: AIGA Annual DesignCompetitions 31” selected a group of 126 examples of outstanding design produced in 2009. The Collegeof Visual Arts Viewbook was selected in the Brochure, Print, Promoting category. To assure that selectionsbecome a part of a permanent accessible historical record of notable graphic design, each piece is publishedonline as part of the AIGA Design Archives at http://designarchives.aiga.org; the physical artifact becomespart of the AIGA Design Archives now housed at the Denver Art Museum; and is published in the AIGAannual 365: AIGA Year in Design.

Print Regional Design Annual

This annual is the most comprehensive survey of graphic design in the United States. CVA's Viewbook haswon entry into the 2010 annual. Winners are featured in the December 2010 issue of Print.
