purchasing a laptop

Own your laptop and software! CVA has partnered with the Apple Store to offer a MacBook Pro and required software at a special CVA student discount.  All current CVA students are eligible to purchase a MacBook Pro through this program.

The cost for the custom configured MacBook Pro is $2188*, which includes the hardware and software listed below. The estimated savings of purchasing a laptop through this program is $1707. Once purchased, the laptop and all software is property of the purchaser.

Process for Purchasing a Laptop for January 2012:

Please complete the following steps by Friday, January 27 to participate. Laptops will be picked up during the during the first week of February 6, 2012. You must be an enrolled student to participate.

Step One
Complete a "Computer Purchase Agreement" form by Friday, January 27.

Step Two

• Submit payment and/or make arrangements for payment with the financial aid office.
• If using financial aid:

1. The 2011-2012 FAFSA must be on file
2. If using an alternative loan to pay for the purchase the loan must be approved by the lender and a "certification request" must be received by the financial aid office.

All required paperwork must be completed and received by the CVA Financial Aid Office by Friday, January 27.
