student transfer assistance & workshops

The CVA Admissions Office will assist current CVA students in their transition to the  Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and other postsecondary institutions. 

• Essay Writing: An instructor will be on-hand to aid in proofing admissions application essays.
• Portfolio Documentation and Feedback: Bring in artwork for documentation, learn tips on how to document artwork at home and get feedback on portfolio.
• Application Lab: Complete applications in the digital lab with the assistance on experienced admissions counselors. 
• Submit transcript requests.

 If the workshop times conflict with your class schedule, please contact the admissions office for alternatives admissions@cva.edu. Please note that MCAD’s application deadline is Friday, February 15, 2013.
