Experience the relaxation of drawing. Coursework follows a sequence of studies that emphasizes the development of drawing techniques, including the understanding of media and the fundamentals of composition. This course suits a cross-section of experiences - from complete beginners, to those more experienced and looking to explore the underpinnings and process of drawing in a casual studio environment.

headshotAbout the Instructor: Amy Sands
Amy Sands received her MFA in Printmaking, Drawing and Painting from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 1995.   She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Estampa, the 2003 Madrid International Print Fair, Madrid, Spain. She was an invited Artist in Residence at Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in the Isle of Skopelos, Greece in 2005. Her work is in the collections of the New York Public Library, Pratt Institute, Metropolitan State University, Buena Vista University, Central Lakes College, First Congregational Church - River Falls, as well as many private parties.  Sands works out of her studio in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
