If you already know the basics, this intermediate-level class will take your web development skills to the next level. Re-tooling 1.0 covered fundamentals of web programming and image creation. In Re-tooling 2.0, step it up and learn the tools for styling and laying out your website, including Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, creating browser-friendly navigation, image galleries, and website enhancements. We'll take static photoshop layouts and chop them up into code that works beautifully. From embedding links, to tags, font styling, colors, divs, and spans, we'll cover the layout tools that make websites work.
Each class will include a topic overview, a tools and techniques demonstration, and a related assignment to work on in class, with hands-on help from the instructor. Bring your questions and be ready to learn what makes websites tick.
