EMERGENCY COLLEGE CLOSINGS POLICY
In the event of an emergency weather closing, an announcement will
be made on WCCO Radio (830 AM) as well as WCCO-TV channel 4.
School closing are also listed at the WCCO-TV site wcco.com/schoolclosings.
CVA will also display a message on its home page as quickly as is feasible.
A separate message will be recorded as soon as it is possible on the CVA’s main phone answering machine at tel. 651.224.3416.
In the event of inclement weather, please call the college before driving to school in order to ensure that CVA
will be open. If WCCO Radio announces that the St. Paul public high schools are closed, then CVA also will
be closed. If the college closes, it will remain closed for the entire day even if the weather emergency ends
during the day.
