The College of Visual Arts’ Student Gallery presents the opportunity for CVA students to exhibit their artworks in a cooperative student-run space. The gallery provides students with valuable experiences ranging from writing exhibition proposals, preparing and installing artworks for exhibition, to the marketing and promotion of gallery-related events. Open participation with the gallery allows students to expand their knowledge as working artists and spark conversation throughout the CVA community.
The figure is a large influence in the art world. This show focuses on that impact by incorporating artwork that literally, metaphorically, and conceptually portrays the human form.
