As an illustrator, discover your visual voice through your love of drawing. Students of illustration study traditional and non-traditional drawing and multi- and digital-media, building the skills necessary for direct application within the field of illustration. You will create a personal style that informs character development, strong symbolic and metaphoric references and rich narratives that will guide your work throughout your career.
Your coursework prepares you for a diverse practice with opportunities in a variety of settings. Illustrators create work in a variety of industries: advertising, editorial publications, book publications and corporate reports, including graphic novels and the music industry, to name a few.
