CVA is closing on June 30, 2013 and will not be accepting applications for the 2013-14 school year

At the College of Visual Arts, we strive to recognize both academic and artistic merit of our students. In order to do so, we have a variety of scholarship and grant programs awarded to current students.

 

Current Student Scholarship Outstanding Rising Senior Scholarships These $1,000 scholarships are given within each discipline. Awards are announced at the March award ceremony. Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time student, have cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 through the spring semester, must complete 24 credits during the academic year, and must have a minimum of 24 credits remaining toward graduation.

 

Excellence in Scholarship Awards These $500 scholarships are awarded to eligible students participating in the annual academic scholarship exhibition. Awards are announced at the March award ceremony. Qualified applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 through the spring semester.

 

Patron Scholarships These scholarships provide an annual $6,500 scholarship to a number of selected students over their four years of study at CVA. Criteria for selection follows the admissions scholarship application guidelines, which includes a GPA of 3.5 or above accompanied by a studio portfolio for review. This four-year scholarship is renewable if the student maintains full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
