freitag student emergency fund

The purpose of the Freitag Student Emergency Fund is to support students when financial emergency situations arise. The Freitag Fund assists CVA students by providing grocery gift cards to help pay for their food expense.

The Freitag Fund was established in 2009 in honor of CVA alumna Kim (Hanson) Freitag '92 and is open to public contributions.

The director for student life, president, and vice president assess student requests and determine the amount to be distributed. There are no minimum or maximum financial limits. Funds are available until total disbursal.
