On one side of the CVA ID card is a person's name and barcode. This serves as the library card.

If you do not have your card when you want to check out items, the library staff will be able to look up your number.

Your barcode number is also your key to off-campus access to many electronic databases. Your barcode number can also be used to check your library record. You can do this while in the Alexandria online catalog. To log in you type in your barcode number and password (which is your last name). You can then check your library record or place an item on hold.
