Located on the first floor. This collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other ready reference resources. Items must be used in the library.
Located on both the first and second floors. The general collection consists of books in both the art and non-art subjects. General collection books may be checked out for four weeks. We use the Library of Congress classification system.
Located in the library director's office. This is a collection of unique artist books. The books cannot be checked out but can be viewed from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday or by special arrangement.
Located on the first floor. This collection consists of both textbooks and other materials faculty have selected for a class. Reserve items must be used in the library. Some items on reserve may be in the white cabinet by Circulation Desk. The CVA Library does not purchase every required textbooks. Please ask the library staff for assistance if you cannot find an item.
Located on the second floor. These items deal with seeking a career in the arts as well as general career books. These books may be checked out for one week.
Located on the first floor. These items may be checked out for four weeks.
Located on both the first and second floors. The most recent issue of a magazine must be used in the library, but back issues may be checked out for one week.
Located on the second floor. Videos and DVDs may be checked out for one week. DVDs are not kept in the cases, but are in the white cabinet by Circulation Desk.
Located on first floor. Slides may be checked out for one week.
