Matthew Doubek '95 Shows New Work

February 10, 2010

Alumnus Matthew Doubek and Samuel Mobley are not really all too sure if they want you to see their latest show, "Carnival of Fictional Amusement" at Pirate: Contemporary Art. Of course they do...they would like you to see how rainbows are made. Together these two super heros have the most fantastically wonderful powers of shaking the souls of construction, design, painting and colliding them with fine art. Thus the result is a colorful array of multi-faceted, smile making visual stimuli.

Step right up! Come see for yourself the Magical Shrinking Ferris Wheel! Doubek and Mobley have used their talents of awesomenss, skillfully constructing a 10' human powered ferris wheel. Who may ride this fanciful contraption you might ask, well these two geniuses have contacted other super powered artists, inviting them to participate in this enormous undertaking by creating their very own rider for the wheel. Remember you must be under 18" with no living parts to ride.
