Ducett in Painting Zombies

November 17, 2010

Don't paint all painters with the same brushstroke. That's the message behind a new exhibition showcasing the contemporary relevance of living painters. Faculty member Andy Ducett is one of three Minnesota artists included in the international group exhibition Painting Zombies: Permanence/Impermanence at the Katherine E. Nash Gallery from November 16 - December 15, 2010. He promises to present a multi-object assemblageas a two-dimensional image. The exhibit which also features artists from Los Angeles, New York, Philadelpia, Honolulu, London and Tokyo was curated by Ryuta Nakijima and Clarence Morgan.
