Larsen Digital Media Lab Announced

In conjunction with the conclusion of Larsen Design President Tim Larsen's three-year term as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at CVA, the school has named one of its facilities - for the first time ever - in honor of Larsen.

The Larsen Digital Media Lab is a result of Tim's dedication to the success of the school through his board roles (including years as a trustee) as well as generous donations of funding and in-kind services by his company since 1999. CVA Chair of Design John DuFresne says: "It's exciting having our first-ever named facility recognize Tim!"

The plaque at the media lab states: Dedicated on October 14, 2010 in honor of Tim Larsen, distinguished graphic designer and friend of the College of Visual Arts.

Tim acknowledges the Larsen Design staff as co-recipients of this honor — crediting his colleagues for sharing their time and talent to teach and mentor CVA students and establish the CVA Leaders of Design Series, and their creativity to earn the college numerous awards for their design of CVA's current viewbook and website.
