Troldahl '96 Designs for Cancer Awareness

Alumnus Jeff Troldahl has created new jewelry pieces for cancer awareness made out of recycled bicycle chain links. They can be viewed at his website jeffsart.com under the Pink Link.

Troldahl states, “When we lost my Mother to Breast cancer, I wanted to do something, to fight back, to help, to make a difference somehow – but nothing felt quite right. Not long after that, my father passed away. To escape, I spent many days and nights working on bicycles. One day I was working with a bike chain and a thought became quite clear. it’s not just me. We are all in this together, so we best hang on to each other – like the links in the chain I was holding.” He hopes to create a charity in his parents honor.
