Schmid Announces Latest Edition of Quodibetica

Assistant Professor Christina Schmid announces the launch of yet another constellation of Quodibetica. This launch is somewhat different than in the past in that on September 18, 2011 Quodibetica co-hosted their first-ever salon with Art Of This in Minneapolis.

The October issue contains texts written before and after this event: proposals and manifestos (by Jan Estep, Monica Haller, Patricia Briggs,Aaron Van Dyke, and Art Of This), a short but sweet formula for artistic success (Wing Young Huie), a lot of questions and reflections (by AnaLois Borzi, Tucker Hollingsworth)--as well as after-thoughts and observations that followed the far and wide ranging conversation.

Schmid says they are also gearing up for a follow-up conversation, since, as many participants pointed out, we only barely started to scratch the surface. Please stay tuned for October 16.
