CVA Students in Mannequin Project

CVA students Noah Christopherson, Will Cummings, Aurora Johnson, Vanessa Mullenix, Madeline Murnion, Kacie Nelson, and Shelby Spreck participated in the Mannequin Fashion project as a part of the Northstar Fashion Exhibitors apparel trade show at the River Centre in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The project directive was to create fashions from non-traditional materials and to use no fabrics. Various papers and plastic materials were used in the design creations. Their designs were on display in the rotunda of the River Center during the event from October 16 - 18, 2011. Retailers and buyers will vote for their favorite fashion and the winner will receive a cash prize. In addition to the cash prize, a $500 scholarship will be given to the school that receives the most votes.
