Baguss Selected for CSA

CVA Alumna Alyssa Baguss ’07 is one of eight featured artists selected for the fourth season of Community Supported Art (CSA). Selected artists will receive a commission to create 50 shares or artwork especially for the CSA program. The CSA program will begin selling member shares at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012.

Baguss’s 50 pieces are 3 by 4 inch drawings of outdated computer parts – antiquated technology –  “in a highly rendered way, kind of memorializing them, cataloguing them, making them very, very precious,” she said. The pieces will be inserted into library card sleeves and defined by old-fashioned typewriter text.
