Fine Arts Chair Val Jenkins is one of the 20 members of the Rosalux Gallery in their 10th Anniversary Exhibition in Minneapolis. Jenkins' charcoal drawing of barbed wire looks absolutely real until one gets close enough to realize it is a drawing.
The Rosalux Gallery is Minnesota’s longest running collective art gallery which was originally founded in February 2002. It currently consists of 20 contemporary visual artists whose work can be found in major collections all over the world, and who have received prestigious grants, residencies, and awards. The gallery is located in the Van Buren Building in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
