Foshay Tower Museum and Observation Deck is home to an ongoing exhibit featuring over 300 works, many by local artists and celebrities. The theme for You Can Almost Touch the Sky surrounds interpretations and portraits of the iconic skyscraper Foshay Tower located at 9th and Marquette in Minneapolis. Foshay's visiting artist and CVA adjunct faculty member Cheryl Wilgren Clyne, designed the open call as a way to draw attention to the tower, museum, and open air observation deck while creating a showcase for architecture and art enthusiasts of diverse backgrounds and ages.
College of Visual Arts students Quinn Clark, Tatiana Fisher, Sean Patrick Guidera, Madeline Janet Harr, Rachael Henn, Jolene Wesley Kappes, Megan Leys, Hannah Love, David Miller, Keniesha Pouncy, Brie Rinkel, and Katelyn Rose White are participating in the exhibit through work from a digital photography course taught by Wilgren Clyne. This is the perfect opportunity to check out the show and the incredible views at the Foshay Tower.
