Dubnicka '02 and Schock '05 at Duluth Art Institute

Alumni Eric Dubnicka ’02 and Jeremy Schock ’05 spent a weekend in August sharing their talents in a collaboration on canvas – the same canvas. Jeremy’s abstract printmaking sensibility mixed well with the painterly dark humor of Dubnicka and the resulting work is a wonderful examination of artistic process. The two have continued to create together over intensive weekend sessions. The exhibition In Cahoots is the culmination of their efforts.

In Cahoots at the Morrison Gallery at the Duluth Art Institute in Duluth, Minnesota opens on Thursday, October 11, 2012 with an Artist Dialogue at 5:30 p.m. The work on view in the gallery will show off their individual talents as well as their collaborative pieces. There will also be a Gallery Celebration on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
