Wilgren Clyne Wins Poster Competition

Adjunct faculty member Cheryl Wilgren Clyne won the Saint Paul Art Crawl poster competition this year from a field of over 300 submissions. The Jurors for the competition were John DuFresne, CVA Chair of Graphic Design; Kate Iverson, Creative Director/Partner at Permanent Art and Design Group; and Kristin Makholm, Executive Director of the Minnesota Museum of American Art.

The photograph that was chosen you know who you are is an image that was taken at air sweet air GALLERY last year for the fall art crawl. The child in the photograph, Ella Boelke, was wearing one of the over 4,000 bear masks that Wilgren Clyne has given out at art events.  People send her images of themselves wearing the masks and those images will be part of a future art exhibit.
