CVA Students in 2nd Annual Deepwinter Bonfire

McNally Smith College of Music announces its 2nd Annual Deepwinter Bonfire: an Evening of Artistic Variety, Spontaneity & Collaboration. Co-sponsored by the St. Paul Winter Carnival and the College of Visual Arts, the Deepwinter Bonfire takes place at McNally Smith’s Atrium and Auditorium in downtown St. Paul (adjacent to the History Theatre at the intersection of West 10th and Cedar streets) on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 6:00 – 11:30 p.m. Deepwinter Bonfire is described as “a free, five-and-a-half hour conflagration of improvised live music, spoken word, dance and visual art that promises a much-welcomed thaw for the Twin Cities arts community.”

CVA student Chris Nolt is leading a team of CVA students going by the name of “Quadrefiore’ who will be creating a live collaborative mural painting throughout the entire evening.
