President Ann Ledy Listed in the Bowery Artists Tribute

CVA President Ann Ledy is one of over 250 artists listed in the Bowery Artists Tribute, a web site by the New Museum. The site is an ongoing research and history project about artists who lived and worked in the Bowery area of New York. The Bowery is a richly diverse residential and commercial area that has had a famous and also infamous history. By the mid-20th century artists were drawn to this area, where empty lofts became artists studios. President Ledy lived in the area for a number of years. The project is working to identify the artists who lived in this small geographic area and the list of names is indeed a who's who of 20th & 21st century art.
