In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 students have certain rights in regard to their educational records. These rights are:
- The right to inspect and review the educational records maintained by CVA.
- The right to challenge and amend any portion of the record that the student believes is inaccurate or misleading.
- The right to require the school to obtain written consent prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information.
- The right to file a complaint with the Family Policy Compliance Office (FPCO) concerning alleged denial of rights.
